01Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by VLL REMOVALS LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By requesting a quote or using our services, you (“you”, “your”) agree to these Terms.

02Our Services and Quotations

We provide removal services throughout the United Kingdom.

Our quotations are based on the information you provide and exclude customs duties, parking permits, or additional local authority fees unless stated.

We may adjust the price if circumstances change (for example restricted access, additional labour, extra items).

03Services Not Included Unless Agreed

• Disconnecting/reconnecting appliances
• Dismantling/reassembling furniture
• Taking up/laying flooring
• Moving hazardous or prohibited goods

04Customer Responsibilities

You must:

• Provide accurate information
• Ensure proper access for vehicles
• Be present or appoint a representative
• Prepare appliances and furniture
• Empty and defrost fridges/freezers
• Protect unattended items

05Our Responsibilities

• Transport your goods with reasonable care
• Deliver goods in the condition they were collected
• Communicate promptly about issues
• Liability applies only as outlined in the Liability section

06Items We Cannot Move

• Illegal, stolen, or prohibited goods
• Explosives, chemicals, aerosols, fuels
• Cash, jewellery, precious metals
• Live animals
• Perishables requiring temperature control
• Plants that could cause infestation

07Cancellation & Postponement

• 7 days: no charge
• 3–7 days: 30% of quote
• 48 hours: 60%
• Same-day cancellation: 100% payable

08Liability

• We are not liable for owner-packed items, pre-existing damage, wear & tear, fragile items packed by the customer, or delays beyond our control
• Damage to property is limited to the specific area affected

09Payment

• Payment due before or on the service date
• Acceptable methods: bank transfer, cash
• Overdue payments may incur 4% above Bank of England base rate
• We may withhold goods until payment is made

10Subcontracting

We may use subcontractors; these Terms apply to any subcontracted work.

11Route & Method

We may determine the route, method, and vehicle type unless agreed otherwise.

12Storage Services (if applicable)

• Monthly storage fees paid in advance
• Unpaid fees after 90 days may result in sale or disposal of goods

13Complaints & Disputes

• We aim to resolve complaints quickly
• Unresolved disputes may go to ADR or UK courts

14Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales
• Disputes must be resolved in the UK courts
